About the event
In the midst of rising concerns around student mental health, it has become essential for schools to move from a reactive stance to a proactive and preventive approach. One crisis in a school affects not just the student involved, but the entire ecosystem—teachers, peers, parents, leadership, and the school’s overall wellbeing and reputation.
To support schools in strengthening their safety and wellbeing systems, I am pleased to propose the QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training for your staff.
Why This Matters for Schools
Mental health crises carry emotional, operational, and legal implications for institutions.
Teachers and staff are the first observers of behavioural and emotional changes in students.
Many educators feel uncertain about identifying early warning signs or knowing how to intervene safely.
